Notable Increase in Dollar Exchange Rates Across Local Markets in Three Iraqi Provinces
The US dollar exchange rates against the Iraqi dinar witnessed a notable increase in the local markets of three major provinces. In the capital, Baghdad, the selling rate reached 157,500 IQD per $100, while the buying rate was recorded at 157,000 IQD. In Erbil, the selling rate stood at 156,800 IQD against 156,250 IQD for buying. Meanwhile, in Basra province, currency markets recorded 157,250 IQD for selling compared to 156,750 IQD for buying, reflecting a slight variance in trading activity across the provinces.
