Security experts have emphasized that surveillance camera systems have become a fundamental pillar for enhancing security in modern cities due to their effective role in solving crimes in record time, particularly with the integration of artificial intelligence and visual identification technologies. Security experts explained that the success of these systems depends on selecting high-efficiency equipment and establishing advanced operations rooms capable of direct monitoring and immediate field coordination. Furthermore, integrating AI programs allows for precise tracking of wanted individuals and rapid data analysis, significantly reducing security and intelligence efforts. Despite rapid global advancements in this field, the implementation of some surveillance projects in Iraq faces challenges related to equipment quality, distribution mechanisms, and inadequate periodic maintenance. Experts stressed the importance of assigning these projects to specialized companies and building qualified institutional technical teams to manage them according to well-planned geographical maps. This ensures maximum coverage and effectiveness, directly contributing to the reduction of criminal activities and the fight against terrorist threats.
