Dhi Qar Tops the Country in Hemorrhagic Fever Cases and Mobilizes Health Efforts

Dhi Qar Governorate has recorded a significant rise in confirmed cases of hemorrhagic fever, exceeding 90 infections and making it the highest-ranking province in the country for the disease this year. Local health authorities confirmed the cases through laboratory testing, noting that the majority of patients have recovered, while others continue to receive medical care. Seven fatalities have been reported due to complications. Relevant authorities are intensifying exceptional efforts to contain the outbreak, amid calls for urgent support for veterinary hospitals to control transmission hotspots and curb the spread of the infection.
