Tehran Denies Holding Technical Talks with Washington in Doha, Confirms Ongoing Consultations

Iranian officials emphasized that despite ongoing consultations related to the implementation of obligations by the concerned parties, reports suggesting imminent meetings in Doha are inaccurate. Conversely, international reports indicate that technical discussions between the two sides to implement previous memorandums of understanding are proceeding as planned. These include understandings to de-escalate tensions and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz following a series of mutual attacks. These developments coincide with international talks aimed at forming joint working groups to address critical issues, including Iran's nuclear program, maritime security, and efforts to establish stability in the region.
