Talks in Erbil Between Nechirvan Barzani and Mazloum Abdi to Discuss Political and Security Developments in Syria

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, received on Tuesday (May 26, 2026) in Erbil, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mr. Mazloum Abdi, in a meeting focused on discussing regional files and issues of mutual interest. The Media Office of the Region's Presidency issued a statement confirming that the meeting extensively covered the latest developments in the Syrian arena, highlighting the situation of the Kurds and the ongoing political and security developments in the regions of north and east Syria.
