PMF Commission Affirms Transformation into a Firmly Established National Force and Official Institution
The Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Commission, Falih Al-Fayyadh, affirmed that the PMF has become a firmly established national force representing all segments of the Iraqi people, highlighting its strategic role in protecting the country and supporting its security stability. This came in a statement marking the anniversary of the Kifaei Defense Fatwa, where Al-Fayyadh praised the historical role of the Supreme Religious Authority in saving the homeland. He pointed to the high level of coordination and integration between the PMF and various branches of the armed forces and security agencies in achieving victory. He also renewed the commitment to further develop the Commission's administrative and training systems in accordance with prevailing laws and the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, ensuring it remains a professional national institution serving Iraq.
