Al-Azm Coalition Demands Contract Stabilization and Farmers' Dues Payment

mesoiraq - The leadership body of the Al-Azm coalition held talks on Thursday (September 10, 2026) with Finance Minister Faleh Sari on a number of legislative and executive files, foremost among them contract stabilization and the dues of farmers and former army personnel.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on accelerating the disbursement of dues to farmers who have marketed their agricultural crops, in addition to stabilizing contract employees across all ministries on permanent payrolls within the upcoming federal budget.

The leadership body also called for ensuring fairness for former members of the Iraqi army and for releasing their financial entitlements to achieve social justice.
