Badr Bloc Demands Urgent Measures to Open Al-Shaib Port and End Al-Shalamcheh Restrictions

mesoiraq - The parliamentary Badr Bloc demanded that the relevant government authorities intervene immediately and urgently to fully reopen the Al-Shaib border crossing and lift restrictions imposed on workflow at the Al-Shalamcheh crossing.

The bloc's spokesman, MP Hamid Al-Musawi, explained in an official statement that the continued disruption of border crossings casts a heavy shadow on the economic reality of the southern governorates and local markets.

The bloc called for converting announced government positions and decisions into practical steps that ensure the smooth flow of goods and commodities away from any political influences or external dictates that harm common interests.
