Destruction of Massive Quantities of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Baghdad

The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced the destruction of approximately 106 kilograms of narcotics and over 22,000 psychotropic pills, along with various liquid substances, at the Forensic Medicine Department in Baghdad. The Ministry confirmed that this operation was carried out under top governmental directives and the direct supervision of the Supreme Judicial Council. The destruction process utilized specialized incinerators operating at extremely high temperatures to ensure the complete elimination of these materials, as part of the ongoing national efforts to combat the drug epidemic and protect society.
