Electoral Commission Considers Mechanisms to Adopt the Unified National Card in Voting Operations
The Independent High Electoral Commission held an extensive meeting to discuss the mechanisms of integrating and adopting the Unified National Card as an official document in the voting process, alongside the biometric electronic voter card. The meeting, chaired by leaders from the Board of Commissioners and attended by technical experts, reviewed the optimal ways to adapt technical and procedural aspects to ensure a completely smooth process. During the meeting, it was decided to send official correspondence to the relevant government authorities to provide the necessary technical requirements to complete the project's simulation environment. The outcomes also included an agreement to hold a series of joint technical meetings to overcome obstacles and develop robust mechanisms ensuring the success of this strategic step aimed at facilitating voting procedures for citizens.
