General Military Inspector Chairs Weekly Conference of Military Inspectorate Officers

mesoiraq - The Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday (September 13, 2026) that the General Military Inspector, Staff Lieutenant General Jassem Mohammed Alwan, chaired the expanded weekly conference of the General Military Inspectorate's officers.

The conference discussed a number of key themes aimed at identifying the most prominent current challenges facing military operations, and proposing practical solutions that contribute to developing the capabilities of the armed forces across all branches and formations.

The conference emphasized adherence to professional standards to enhance the three pillars of inspection: instructional, inspectional, and combat readiness, while setting the necessary plans to raise the combat and administrative level of all units and diagnose the obstacles hindering the development of military units.

The General Military Inspector stressed the need for inspectors to be educators in various field and specialized circumstances, free from personal favoritism, while ensuring that reports are completed in accordance with the regulations issued by the Inspectorate headquarters, reflecting the units' ability to carry out their assigned missions under all circumstances.
