Google Officially Launches Gemini App for Windows

mesoiraq - Google has launched the Gemini application for Windows computers, moving its AI assistant beyond the browser experience into a dedicated desktop application.

The application supports Windows devices powered by x64 and ARM64 processors and allows users to access Gemini while working with other applications without opening a browser.

Users can launch the application quickly through a keyboard shortcut or access it through the taskbar and system area. The app also provides capabilities for multi-step tasks, research and planning, along with integration with several Google services.

Its features also include image creation and video generation tools, while synchronization allows users to continue their conversations and access memory across desktop, web and mobile devices when signed into the same account.

Some advanced native integration capabilities are not yet available on Windows, while Google is working to expand the application's functionality through future updates.
