Government Issues a Package of Strategic Decisions to Support Energy and Service Sectors
The Council of Ministers approved a package of vital decisions during its regular session, covering the economic, energy, and service sectors. The decisions included activating international agreements regarding water files and infrastructure projects, as well as approving strategic plans to diversify crude oil export routes via the Mediterranean Sea. The Council also agreed to enhance investments in gas and oil fields by signing memorandums of understanding with major global companies. On the public service front, the government ordered the suspension of official working hours to facilitate the movement of pilgrims during religious events, and supported the educational sector with decisions concerning the care of gifted students.
