Higher Education Increases Mutual Admission Seats Between Baghdad and Kurdistan Region to 1,250

mesoiraq - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research expanded mutual admission seats between federal and Kurdistan regional universities to 1,250 students for the upcoming academic year, up from 500.

The decision followed joint high-level academic meetings focused on strengthening educational cooperation and streamlining administrative procedures for admissions and degree equivalency.

Under the agreement, undergraduate seats were boosted from 400 to 1,000, while postgraduate allocations were raised from 100 to 250 to further academic coordination across institutions.
