Integrity Commission Announces Arrest of Five Suspects in Extortion and Bargaining Cases in Al-Diwaniyah

mesoiraq The Federal Integrity Commission executed three operation raids in Al-Diwaniyah governorate, resulting in the arrest of five suspects on charges of extortion and compromising the freedom and integrity of auctions and tenders in official departments. The operations included the arrest of two media workers on charges of demanding money from employees in exchange for allocating residential land plots, in addition to arresting a security affiliate and employees involved in bargaining individuals and attempting to interfere in official auctions and tenders belonging to municipal and university departments. The commission clarified that the competent judge decided to detain the suspects in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
