Integrity Commission Apprehends Officials in Nasiriyah Municipality Red-Handed on Bribery Charges

mesoiraq The Federal Integrity Commission announced that its field staff in Dhi Qar Governorate successfully apprehended two officials working in the Nasiriyah Municipality directorate red-handed while receiving bribes in exchange for refraining from taking legal measures against a citizen.

The commission confirmed that the task force executed a tight ambush resulting in the apprehension of the suspects in coordination with judicial authorities, where they were referred to the competent investigative judge who decided to detain them pending investigation.
