Integrity Commission Dismantles Forgery Network Tampering with 104 Real Estate Properties in Nasiriyah Municipality

mesoiraq - The Federal Integrity Commission revealed the dismantling of a network involved in tampering and forgery regarding the allocation and ownership procedures of real estate belonging to the Nasiriyah Municipality Directorate. Investigations resulted in the seizure of ownership records for 104 prime properties, with a total value exceeding 10 billion Iraqi dinars, where procedures were conducted in violation of legal regulations. Based on the evidence, arrest warrants were executed against the former municipality director and several employees on charges of damaging public funds. A non-disposal mark was placed on all properties involved in the case to prevent their transfer until the matter is judicially resolved.
