Interior Ministry Deports 40 Foreigners for Violating Residency Laws via Baghdad Airport

mesoiraq - The Directorate of Residency Affairs at the Ministry of Interior announced the deportation of 40 foreign nationals from Iraqi territory via Baghdad International Airport for violating the provisions of Residency Law No. (76) of 2017. The directorate confirmed that these measures come under direct directives from the higher leadership in the ministry, and as part of an ongoing security and legal campaign aimed at regulating the file of expatriate labor and residency, and applying applicable laws against those violating the conditions of presence inside the country.
