Iran Denies US Allegations Over Attacks Launched from Iraq Toward Saudi Arabia

mesoiraq - Iran's Foreign Ministry has denied US allegations of Iranian involvement in attacks launched from Iraqi territory toward Saudi Arabia, stressing that the claims have no basis.

The ministry said that understandings between Iran and Oman regarding maritime routes concern exclusively the sovereignty of the two countries, while a planned regional meeting in Oman was postponed amid rapidly developing regional tensions.

Tehran reiterated that it does not interfere in Yemen's internal affairs and called on regional countries to avoid exchanging accusations, reduce tensions and address regional crises through political means.
