Iraqi Judiciary Affirms Readiness to Provide Legal and Judicial Support to Syria

The President of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council affirmed Iraq's full support for reconstruction and development efforts in Syria across all levels, expressing the Iraqi judicial institution's readiness to provide all forms of legal and judicial assistance to the Syrian side. This statement was made during a joint meeting held in the Syrian capital, Damascus, with the Syrian Minister of Justice, where emphasis was placed on supporting Damascus's steps in reorganizing its internal environment and building its institutions. In turn, the Syrian Minister of Justice praised the development of bilateral relations, emphasizing his country's aspiration to broaden the horizons of legal and judicial partnership with Baghdad during this pivotal stage.
