Lebanese Prime Minister Arrives in Baghdad on Official Visit to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, heading a high-level ministerial delegation on an official visit. The visit aims to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the energy and economic sectors, in addition to addressing key regional and international developments. The Lebanese delegation, which includes the Ministers of Finance, Energy, and Telecommunications, was received with an official welcoming ceremony at Baghdad Airport. Both sides are scheduled to hold bilateral and expanded meetings to discuss strategic files, most notably the revival of the Iraqi-Syrian-Lebanese oil pipeline and the enhancement of investment partnerships amid regional changes.
