Media and Communications Commission Releases AI Regulatory Draft for Public Consultation

mesoiraq - The Iraqi Media and Communications Commission announced the launch of the draft regulatory framework for Artificial Intelligence services for public consultation, inviting stakeholders and experts to contribute to the legislative environment of the ICT sector.

The draft framework aims to establish comprehensive rules for AI deployment, safeguarding user rights and data privacy while enhancing digital security, innovation, and investment in line with national digital sovereignty. Public feedback will be accepted over a 30-day period.
