New Lawmakers Take Constitutional Oath to Commence Legislative Duties

Six new members took the constitutional oath during a session of the House of Representatives, signaling the commencement of their parliamentary duties in accordance with the constitution and internal regulations. The list of new lawmakers included Bashar Aamij Ismail, Mohammed Fawaz Mohammed Dhiab, Jamal Ali Owaid, Salah Hadi Al-Zuhairi, Zahraa Jamil Al-Mayali, and Jassim Mohammed Al-Sharifi. The swearing-in ceremony was held in the presence of parliament members to legally fill vacant seats resulting from resignations or members assuming executive roles.
