Perpetrators of Al-Sabtiyya Crime in Baquba Arrested after Fleeing to Sulaymaniyah

mesoiraq - Security forces managed to arrest three main perpetrators involved in an incident of killing and injuring two young men northwest of Baquba city.

A security source explained that the security agencies in Diyala, in coordination and joint cooperation with their counterparts in Sulaymaniyah governorate, arrested three main defendants involved in the killing of a young man and the injury of another in Al-Sabtiyya area northwest of Baquba, which occurred last week.

He added that the defendants had fled to Sulaymaniyah governorate immediately after committing the crime in an attempt to escape, confirming that they were returned and transferred to Baquba to complete the investigations and be referred to the competent courts to receive their just punishment.
