Pork Meat Seller in Najaf Referred to Criminal Court

mesoiraq - A judicial source reported today, Saturday (September 12, 2026), that the file of the accused of selling pork meat in Najaf Governorate has been referred to the Criminal Court to combat this crime and prosecute him under the law.

The source said that the file of the pork meat seller, who was arrested days ago in one of the alleys of Najaf Ashraf, has been referred to the Najaf Criminal Court for trial after all evidence and proof against him were completed.

The source added that the court is awaiting the scheduling of the trial session and the issuance of the final verdict against him in accordance with the provisions of the Iraqi Penal Code.
