Specialized security agencies reported the execution of a series of qualitative preemptive operations in both the capital, Baghdad, and Karbala province, resulting in the apprehension of several individuals involved in threatening social peace and inciting strife. In Baghdad, a suspect promoting extremist ideology via social media platforms was arrested, along with another involved in acts of vandalism targeting religious symbols in the Al-Jihad neighborhood. In Karbala, security forces intervened to contain an assault incident carried out by 14 foreign nationals near the holy shrines, preventing the escalation of the situation amid the massive crowds.
