Prime Minister Confirms Employee Salaries Secured, Alternative Oil Export Routes Expanded

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi announced on Friday the successful securing of public sector salaries alongside progress in expanding alternative crude oil export pipelines. A press statement from the Prime Minister's Office indicated efforts to broaden export routes via Turkey's Ceyhan port as well as terminals in Baniyas and Aqaba. The statement added that a new national budget proposal will soon be submitted to Parliament to frame Iraq's future economic roadmap.
