Recovery of Over 21 Billion Dinars in Exchange Rate Fraud Case

mesoiraq - The Iraqi judiciary successfully recovered more than 21 billion Iraqi dinars from two companies that committed financial violations related to obtaining the dollar exchange rate difference through money transfers abroad.

The Karkh Second Investigation Court confirmed the recovery of an amount of 21 billion and 424 million dinars for a financial fraud crime committed through illegal methods.

It explained that the recovery operation took place through intensive efforts and direct judicial supervision, emphasizing the continuation of legal procedures against all entities that follow illegal methods to achieve illicit profits and harm public funds.
