Renewed Fuel Tanker Fire on Shula Highway in Baghdad as Civil Defense Intervenes
Security sources reported a renewed fire involving a fuel tanker on the Shula Highway in Baghdad, caused by high temperatures and residual gas oil at the scene. Civil defense teams promptly initiated firefighting operations. The road will be temporarily closed once the fire is controlled to allow for the cleaning and removal of fuel residues. It is noteworthy that the initial incident resulted in the deaths of the driver and his companion after the tanker overturned in the same area.
