Security Forces Arrest High-Profile Suspect Involved in Illegal Land Encroachment in Zafaraniya

mesoiraq - Iraqi security forces have successfully arrested a key suspect involved in the illegal subdivision, bulldozing, and sale of state-owned agricultural lands in the Zafaraniya district, southeast of Baghdad. The operation was carried out following intensive intelligence tracking and a coordinated ambush. Upon arrest, security personnel seized a variety of weapons alongside forged official seals and documents used by the suspect to deceptively validate illegal land transactions. The suspect and confiscated items have been referred to the competent judicial authorities for further legal proceedings.
