Supreme Judicial Council Releases July Criminal Statistics: Hundreds of Cases on Human Trafficking and Residency Violations
mesoiraq - The Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq has released its statistics for cases registered during the month of July, revealing 167 lawsuits related to human trafficking crimes, primarily concentrated in the Basra Appeal Court, followed by courts in the capital, Baghdad. The courts also documented 384 cases concerning violations of the foreign residency law, with the highest numbers recorded in the Rusafa and Karkh courts. Additionally, the official statistics reported 16 suicide cases across various provinces during the same month, with Nineveh province recording the highest number at five cases.
