US Embassy in Amman Tightens Security Measures Following Armed Attack

mesoiraq - The US Embassy in the Jordanian capital, Amman, announced the tightening of its security measures in several sensitive locations and shopping centers, following the armed attack targeting an Orthodox church in the Karak Governorate in the south of the country.

The embassy reiterated its close monitoring of the security situation, in conjunction with intensive Jordanian government efforts to pursue those involved in the attack and consolidate security and stability.
