mesoiraq - Engineering and technical teams from the Ministry of Water Resources have launched a broad campaign to install modern water barriers along the Euphrates and Gharraf rivers in Dhi Qar Province. This measure aims to curb the spread of the "water hyacinth" and other aquatic plants that obstruct water flow, thereby ensuring that water supplies reach beneficiary areas and protecting the ecological diversity of the province's water bodies.
