The National Security Service announced on Friday a major strike against drug trafficking networks in the capital, Baghdad, resulting in the arrest of two individuals involved in distributing illicit substances. In an official statement, the agency detailed that the operation was executed following precise intelligence gathering, intensive field surveillance, and the procurement of necessary judicial warrants. The carefully planned ambush led to the confiscation of quantities of crystal meth, alongside firearms and undisclosed amounts of cash.
