Tehran Strongly Condemns US Airstrikes on Iran's Southern Coasts
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the airstrikes carried out by the US military targeting locations on the southern coasts of Iran. In an official statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry considered the attacks on coastal surveillance facilities to be a blatant violation of the fundamental clauses of regional memorandums of understanding. It also directed criticism at Israeli military operations in Lebanon, deeming them an additional breach of agreed-upon conventions coordinated with Washington. These condemnations followed the Iranian forces' announcement of executing counter-military operations targeting US positions and bases in the region using missiles and drones, signaling a new phase of military escalation in the region.
