Ministry of Communications Announces Free Internet Service in Holy Shrines
On Thursday, the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sanad, announced a government initiative to provide free internet service inside all holy shrines and sanctuaries across the country, starting next week. The Minister explained that the service will be regularly available on Thursdays and Fridays year-round, as well as during major religious occasions, and from the beginning of Muharram until the end of Safar. This step aims to enhance the level of services provided to visitors and facilitate their communication, as part of a strategic plan to develop digital infrastructure in religious sites.
