Ministry of Health Destroys Hundreds of Kilograms of Narcotics in Forensic Medicine Incinerators

The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with a specialized national committee, supervised a large-scale destruction of seized narcotics and psychotropic substances, amounting to approximately 239 kilograms, alongside thousands of unauthorized medical pills and bottles. The operation was carried out in the incinerators of the Forensic Medicine Directorate at temperatures reaching 1,000 degrees Celsius to ensure the complete destruction of the materials. These efforts, conducted in the presence of representatives from the Supreme Judicial Council, security, and customs authorities, are part of the government's program aimed at combating the drug epidemic and protecting the community's health security.
