Ministry of Transport Mobilizes Efforts to Secure Reverse Dispatch of Karbala Pilgrims

The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has announced the continuation of its plans to execute the reverse dispatch operations for pilgrims in Karbala following the conclusion of the Ashura ceremonies. In an official statement, the Ministry confirmed the full mobilization of its resources to ensure the safe and smooth return of pilgrims to the capital, Baghdad, and other provinces. The strategic plan includes equipping 250 modern buses, allocating 100 for the Baghdad axis and 150 for the Karbala axis, marking a 25% increase compared to previous years to accommodate the massive crowds. The Ministry noted that transport services will run around the clock until the city is completely evacuated.
