Baghdad Provincial Council Prepares to Launch "Mawallidati" App for Automating Private Energy Sector and Electronic Payment
mesoiraq - The Baghdad Provincial Council intends to launch a digital service application named "Mawallidati", following the completion of contracting procedures with a specialized executing entity, with the aim of mechanizing the management of residential generator sectors, regulating fees, and curbing price violations.
The Head of the Oil and Gas Committee in the Council, Yahya Al-Khuzaali, explained that this step is the culmination of a previously prepared strategic study to transform private generator services toward a digital system, in line with comprehensive government directives for digital transformation.
Al-Khuzaali pointed out that the application will allow citizens to complete financial payment operations for service fees electronically via approved bank cards, contributing to tightening regulatory oversight and ensuring transparency in fee collection.
