Ghalibaf Asserts Failure of Any Attempts to Impose Maritime and Air Blockade on Iran
mesoiraq - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf asserted that foreign attempts to impose a maritime and air blockade on Iran and target its commercial arteries will fail in the face of economic planning and military readiness.
Ghalibaf stated that regional deterrence and security architecture are deeply rooted to counter all scenarios, noting that rhetoric regarding the Strait of Hormuz will not alter security facts on the ground.
He emphasized that regional safety is interdependent, stressing that if Iran's commercial and energy security is compromised, infrastructure across the region will be impacted.
