Iraqi National Security Advisor and Egyptian Ambassador Discuss Security Cooperation and Regional Stability

National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Abboudi met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq, Ahmed Samir, to review bilateral relations and expand cooperation on key issues of mutual concern. Discussions focused on enhancing joint efforts in counter-terrorism, information sharing, and expertise exchange. Al-Abboudi stressed that diplomatic dialogue remains the optimal path to de-escalating regional tensions and achieving sustainable peace, highlighting the government’s efforts led by Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi to restrict arms to state authority and fight corruption to foster a secure investment environment.
