Meteorological Authority Announces Unstable Weather Wave and Rain Showers Across Regions

mesoiraq - The Meteorological Authority announced that the country will be affected by a wave of atmospheric instability, with varying chances of rainfall across various regions.

The weather forecasting department explained that the rain wave will begin gradually in the western regions and Anbar Governorate before extending to the central regions and remaining cities, expecting light to moderate rainfall interspersed with heavy showers accompanied by lightning and thunder.

The authority added that the weather condition is accompanied by downdraft winds that may cause dust storms and temporary reduction in horizontal visibility, urging citizens to exercise caution and stay away from valleys and depressions.
