Ministry of Finance and Central Bank Coordinate to Enhance Financial Stability

Minister of Finance Faleh Sari met with Central Bank of Iraq Governor Nizar Nasser Hussein to discuss current financial and economic developments and address ongoing challenges. The meeting highlighted the necessity of continuous alignment between fiscal and monetary policies to efficiently manage cash flows and fulfill the state’s core obligations, while advancing public finance management reforms. Both parties agreed to enhance digital data sharing and accelerate electronic transformation across financial institutions. The Central Bank reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining monetary stability, developing the banking sector, and supporting the needs of the national economy.
