National Security Advisory Discusses Implementation Phases of the Joint Security Agreement with a Kurdistan Region Delegation
A high-level security meeting was held at the National Security Advisory headquarters, bringing together the National Security Advisor and an official delegation from the Kurdistan Region to discuss the progress of implementing the joint security agreement signed between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting, attended by security leaders and officials from both the federal government and the regional government, thoroughly addressed the technical and operational details of the agreement's implementation phases. During the discussions, emphasis was placed on the importance of unifying visions and efforts to enhance sustainable security stability and secure shared borders, in alignment with the supreme national interest and the state's directives to enforce the rule of law and permanently preserve the country's security and stability.
