Opening a Strategic Road Adjacent to Al-Jumhuriya Bridge in Central Baghdad After Two Decades of Closure

mesoiraq Competent authorities for dismantling traffic congestion opened the road adjacent to Al-Jumhuriya Bridge towards Tahrir Square within the Al-Aqeeda School approaches after completing all technical works and preparing it for vehicle traffic, noting that this road has remained closed to traffic since 2003.

The General Traffic Directorate explained that opening this path comes within continuous efforts to find alternative routes, expand traffic flow, and actively contribute to alleviating traffic congestion in the vital area of the capital, Baghdad.
