Rusafa Criminal Court Issues Sentences Against 5 Convicted of Forging Judicial Seals

mesoiraq - The Rusafa Criminal Court issued varying judicial sentences against five individuals convicted of forging seals attributed to the Supreme Judicial Council and using them for unauthorized contracts and transactions.

According to a judicial statement, three convicts were sentenced to ten years in prison after forged seals were seized in their possession, under Article 302/1 of the Penal Code.

The court also sentenced two other defendants to one year of simple imprisonment for failing to report the counterfeiting of seals and illegal contracts under Article 247 of the Penal Code.
