Suspect Who Stole 10,000 Dollars at Gunpoint Arrested in Basra

mesoiraq - Basra Governorate Police Command announced the arrest of a suspect who stole a sum of money at gunpoint in the governorate.

The command stated that Basra Police Center detachments managed to arrest a suspect who stole an amount of 10,000 US dollars from a citizen under threat of weapon.

It added that the arrest came after accurate field follow-up and collecting information related to the incident, which resulted in identifying the suspect and arresting him in record time.

The command confirmed taking the necessary legal procedures against the suspect and detaining him officially according to Article (442) of the Iraqi Penal Code.
