Vital Bridge Projects Delayed Due to Financial Challenges

mesoiraq - The Ministry of Construction and Housing announced significant progress in the bridge projects crossing the Tigris River, part of the traffic congestion relief initiatives. The ministry's spokesperson clarified that the remaining projects include the second Sarafiya and Jadriya bridges, Gaza bridge, and the connection of the Suspension Bridge to the Two-Story route. He noted that the initial plan aimed to complete these projects early this year; however, economic challenges, delays in approving the federal budget, lack of cash flow, and outstanding financial obligations for previously completed works have hindered the planned schedules.
