National Security Officers Take Legal Oath to Exercise Investigative Authority

A group of officers from the National Security Service took the legal oath before the Presidency of the Baghdad/Rusafa Appeal Court, marking their official authorization as "investigators" following the successful completion of an intensive, multi-month specialized course at the Judicial Institute. During the swearing-in ceremony, the Chief Judge emphasized the critical importance of absolute neutrality and integrity in performing these sensitive duties, noting that the investigator's role is the fundamental pillar in criminal proceedings. He stressed the necessity for officers to exercise the highest degrees of accuracy and honesty while documenting investigative procedures, given that the fate of cases and the rights of citizens are intrinsically linked to the validity and precision of the investigation records.
