Arrest of a Suspect Involved in Stealing a Large Sum of Money from an Exchange Office in Eastern Baghdad in Record Time

mesoiraq - The Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of a suspect accused of stealing a large sum of money from an exchange outlet in the Al-Habibiya area, eastern capital Baghdad, in record time. Upon receiving a report through the central response system indicating a theft incident, a joint working group from the field units of the Fifth Federal Police Division and a detachment from the Baghdad Criminal Office was formed to head to the scene. Intelligence and field efforts, along with monitoring security cameras, resulted in identifying his identity, locating him, arresting him, and seizing the vehicle he was using, to be handed over along with the confiscated items to the competent authorities to complete legal procedures.
